What is the meaning of the phrase "Allahu Akbar"?
The meaning of "Allahu Akbar" is that Allah is greater, more glorious, higher, and mightier than everything else, and that He is greater than what can be conceived by the mind or imagined by the fancy. This phrase consists of the majestic name "Allah," which is a proper noun for the Divine Essence whose existence is necessary, and the word "Akbar" in the superlative form, meaning more glorious and mightier.
