What is the ruling on a wife returning to the marital bond with her husband after he has divorced her three times, knowing that she is still in his house?

The husband's statement "I will divorce you" does not constitute a divorce, because it is a promise to divorce and not an actual, immediate divorce. As for "divorced, divorced, divorced," it is explicit. If he intended three divorces by it, then three divorces occur. If he intended one for emphasis or did not intend anything specific, then one divorce occurs. And his statement in another call, "You are divorced," if he intended it as an affirmation of the first divorce, then no additional divorce occurs. All of this is according to the majority of scholars. However, according to the opinion of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, only one divorce occurs with all these phrases.
