What should a wife do regarding her husband who is suffering from financial hardship, and she discovers that he is watching pornography online, and she fears for the future of her marriage?

The questioner is advised to continue counseling her husband gently and wisely, explaining the seriousness of audacity in committing sins, and citing the sayings of scholars in this regard, such as: "Do not look at the smallness of the sin, but look at the One Whom you have disobeyed," and "The more insignificant a sin seems to you, the greater it is in the sight of Allah." She should also be patient, supplicate frequently, and have a good opinion of Allah. If the husband repents, Allah should be thanked for that. If he persists in sin, the questioner should weigh staying with him against leaving him, and choose the lesser of the two harms.
