If the Christian wife no longer believes in the Trinity but believes that God is one, this is not considered apostasy. However, if she leaves Christianity and becomes irreligious, she has apostatized, and her marriage is annulled. If she embraces Islam or returns to the religion of the People of the Book during her waiting period (iddah), she reverts to the original marriage. But if she remains in her state until the iddah expires, then the marital bond between you is severed.

We advise encouraging her to embrace Islam.
