Is it permissible to propose to a non-hijabi girl on condition that she commits to wearing the hijab after marriage, while waiting for her to complete her studies?

There is no harm in writing a letter to a girl to express the desire to marry her and invite her to wear the hijab, provided that the legitimate controls are adhered to by limiting the letter to what is necessary and avoiding anything that leads to temptation. If the girl accepts the hijab, there is no objection to waiting to complete her studies before marriage, though it is preferable to hasten the marriage. If she does not agree to wear the hijab, then leave her and seek a religious woman, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Succeed with the religious woman, may your hands be dusted."
