Does the inheritance need to be redivided after the sister objected to the younger brother taking possession of part of the land?

The inherited land is the property of all heirs, and no one has the right to prevent its division or benefit from it without their consent, unless all heirs agree to that.

If there is no such consent, the sister has the right to demand rent for her share of the land that was cultivated. As for the qirats (carats) that the mother purchased from the proceeds of the crops, the sister has no right to them. If someone usurps land and cultivates it, the crop belongs to him, but he must pay a compensatory rent (ajr al-mithl).
