What is the interpretation of the Hadith: "There is nothing in Paradise of what is in this world except the names"?

The text mentioned is an athar (saying) attributed to Ibn Abbas, and its meaning is that what is mentioned in the revelatory texts about the blessings of Paradise—such as fruits, trees, rivers, and so forth—differs from what is in this world. There is nothing in Paradise that is like what is in this world except in name. It was mentioned to us with those names to bring the meaning closer to our minds, for the blessings of Paradise cannot be described or imagined. The realities (musammayat) in Paradise are completely different from those in this world, as stated by Al-San'ani and Al-Munawi, and as emphasized by Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, who affirmed that the fruit of Paradise differs from the fruit of this world.
