"BRB" is an abbreviation of an English phrase. It is preferable to avoid using it if there is no need, because it is from the jargon of non-Arabs, which 'Umar ibn al-Khattab prohibited. Also, whoever speaks in a non-Arabic language without necessity is often doing so out of admiration for them, and similarity in language is a means to similarity in hearts and morals.
