What is the share of each heir: the father, mother, three brothers, and four sisters?

The mother of the deceased receives one-sixth as a prescribed share due to the presence of siblings, based on Allah's saying: "But if he has brothers [and sisters], the mother will have one-sixth." The remainder goes to his father by way of ta'sib (residuary inheritance). The brothers and sisters receive nothing, as they are excluded by the father, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to their rightful recipients, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." Inheritance matters must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation.
