ما هي مكانة القدس عند العرب والمسلمين؟

Jerusalem holds a great status among Arabs and Muslims, for it contains the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, to which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was transported during the Night Journey (Isra'), and from which he ascended to the heavens (Mi'raj). It was the first Qibla of Muslims, and it is the third mosque to which journeys are undertaken.
