What is the ruling on creating hashtags or campaigns on forums for supplications (Duas), Quranic verses, Tasbeeh (glorification of Allah), and Istighfar (seeking forgiveness), or for a member to sign in with a verse or Hadith? And what is the ruling on publishing pictures of scholars and animate beings in general?

Encouraging the remembrance of Allah (dhikr), supplication (du'a), seeking forgiveness (istighfar), and disseminating Qur'anic verses and Hadith is a permissible act. There is no harm in what is called an "istighfar campaign" or creating a hashtag for supplication on social media. However, it is important to avoidخصصing these to specific times or restricting the remembrance to a specific number, lest the matter transform into an innovation (bid'ah). This should be accompanied by sincere intention and devotion to Allah Almighty.

As for photographic images of living beings (dhawat al-arwah), the preponderant opinion is that they are permissible as long as they do not include anything forbidden. Therefore, there is no harm in publishing images of sheikhs or others. For those who deem them forbidden, they should not object to those who do so, as the latter are performing an action they consider permissible.
