The answer

If forgetfulness (sahu) occurs repeatedly in prayer, two prostrations of forgetfulness (sajdatay al-sahu) are sufficient according to most scholars. If one instance of forgetfulness necessitates a pre-salaam prostration and another a post-salaam prostration, the worshiper should prostrate before the tasleem (salaam), and that will suffice for the post-salaam prostration. Ibn Qudamah mentioned that this is the view of most scholars, including Al-Nakha'i, Al-Thawri, Malik, Al-Layth, Al-Shafi'i, and the jurists of independent reasoning (Ahl al-Ra'y).
