Is it permissible to read supplications from a book of Prophetic supplications during Tarawih prayer?

It is permissible for a Muslim to make supplication (Du'a) during Tarawih prayer or other prayers with whatever supplications are easy for him. It is better to memorize supplications from the Qur'an and Sunnah and supplicate with them. As for reading from a book, it is better to avoid it, as some scholars consider it to invalidate the prayer, and it may lead to excessive movement that invalidates the prayer, in addition to potentially diminishing devotion (khushu').
