Is it permissible for the director of a regional governor's office, who does not care about the affairs of the people and the country, to accept money, houses, and cars offered to him by the governor as privileges not enjoyed by others?

It is permissible for a Muslim to take money that comes to him without asking or desiring it, based on what was narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the hadith (definition) of Umar ibn al-Khattab. However, if the entirety of the giver's money is unlawful, such as being acquired through usurpation or bribery, then it is not permissible to accept his gift. But if one doubts the source of the money, it is better to refuse it.
