If the husband believes that the niqab is obligatory, then he is not permitted to allow his wife to uncover her face in front of non- men. The wife's condition to not wear it is void. It is advised that he leave this woman and seek another. However, if the husband believes that uncovering the face is permissible, and the woman is religious, there is no objection to marrying her and adhering to her condition. He can also encourage her to wear the niqab. The default is that the wife's obedience to her husband regarding wearing the niqab is obligatory.
