Is the Hadith "Your worst people are your bachelors" authentic, and if so, what is its explanation?

Abdur-Razzaq and Ahmad narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Akkaf ibn Bishr at-Tamimi: "O Akkaf, do you have a wife?" He replied: "No." He asked: "Nor a concubine?" He replied: "Nor a concubine." He asked: "And you are wealthy?" He replied: "And I am wealthy." He said: "You are then among the brothers of devils. If you were among the Christians, you would be one of their monks. Indeed, our Sunnah (definition) is marriage. The worst among you are your bachelors. The most abject of your dead are your bachelors. You are rubbing shoulders with Satan. Satan has no weapon more effective against the righteous than women, except for those who are married; those are purified and free from indecency. Woe to you, O Akkaf! Indeed, they (women) were the companions of Ayyub, Dawud, Yusuf, and Kurasif." Bishr ibn Atiyyah then asked him about Kurasif. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He was a man who worshipped Allah on a seashore for three hundred years, fasting by day and praying by night. Then he disbelieved in Allah the Almighty because of a woman he fell in love with, and he abandoned his worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. Then Allah caught up with him due to some of his past deeds, and He accepted his repentance. Woe to you, O Akkaf, marry, or else you are among the waverers." Akkaf then said: "Marry me, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "I have married you to Karima, daughter of Umm Kulthum al-Himyari." Sheikh Shu'aib al-Arna'ut mentioned that its chain of narration is weak due to the anonymity of the narrator and the conflicting chains. Ibn Hajar said: "It is a rejected hadith (definition)."
