What is the linguistic and technical definition of Paradise (Jannah)?

Linguistically, Jannah (Paradise) is a vast garden that conceals what is within it, derived from the root "j-n-n," which means to cover or conceal.

Islamically, it is the abode of eternity and honor that Allah has prepared for the believers, wherein He will honor them by allowing them to gaze upon His Noble Face. It contains everlasting bliss unparalleled, as Allah Almighty says: "No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes, as reward for what they used to do." (As-Sajdah: 17)
