What is the ruling on manufacturing perfumes, deodorants, and air fresheners that contain varying percentages of alcohol, and what should be done regarding the machinery, workers, and raw materials after knowing the ruling?

It is not permissible to add alcohol to any mixture before it has undergone transformation (istihalah). If it mixes with anything before its transformation, that thing becomes impure. The small proportion of alcohol does not change this ruling, due to the generality of the Shariah proofs. However, after its transformation, there is no harm in adding it.
