Repentance for a sin is sufficient once, provided its conditions are met: abstaining from the sin, resolving not to return to it, regretting having committed it, and restoring rights to their owners. For the one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. And frequenting seeking forgiveness thereafter is good and prescribed.
