Is it permissible to take from the deceased father's inheritance to cover the costs of his treatment and death that I paid, before the distribution of the inheritance?
He who spends a donation for a charitable cause is not permitted to reclaim it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who reclaims his gift is like a dog that returns to its vomit." It is not permissible for the donor to reclaim his gift, except for a father concerning what he gives to his child. Based on this, it is not permissible to take from the father's estate what was spent on his treatment.
