What is the ruling on saying, "I told Allah about you" in the aforementioned thought, and does the thought contain anything that is forbidden or impermissible to say?

The phrase "I told Allah about you; I informed Him" should not be used, as Allah is transcendent above anything that suggests something could be hidden from Him. An example of this is the statement of Maryam's mother: (My Lord, I have delivered her, a female), then she followed it with (And Allah is most knowing of what she delivered) with the ḍammah on the tāʾ [i.e., waḍaʿat meaning "she delivered"], in glorification of Allah and to declare Him transcendent above anything being hidden from Him. There is no harm in supplicating for reaching Ramadan, as the Salaf used to supplicate with that.
