Is it permissible to give charity to a Christian and pray for their healing during prayer?

Giving charity to a disbeliever is permissible, even though giving charity to a Muslim is more virtuous. As for supplicating for a Christian's healing, it is permissible, especially if there is hope of his embracing Islam. However, it is not permissible to supplicate for him out of love and loyalty, due to the Almighty's saying: "You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day loving those who oppose Allah and His Messenger," and due to His saying: "O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies." The hadith of Abu Sa'id in the two Sahih collections indicates the permissibility of supplicating for a disbeliever's healing, and whatever is permissible outside of prayer is permissible within it.
