What is the reason for a girl feeling despair, bad luck, and guilt due to not getting married or finding a job, despite her prayers and religious commitment?

Tribulation is not necessarily a punishment or a sign of disgrace; rather, it can be a sign of love and elevation of rank, for "the greater the reward, the greater the tribulation, and indeed, when Allah loves a people, He tests them." The servant must be patient and have a good opinion of Allah, for Allah may divert something to save something better than it, as He states: "And perhaps you dislike a thing and it is good for you." If tribulation befalls or the servant feels a lack of success, he should review and examine himself, for tribulation does not descend except due to a sin, and it is not removed except by repentance. The servant must renew his repentance, frequently seek forgiveness, and persist in supplication, and beware of rushing the answer, for supplication is answered as long as the servant does not rush. The answer to supplication comes in one of three ways: expediting the request, storing it for the Hereafter, or averting an equivalent evil.
