If the father asks for charity, or if he is informed that the money is from the committee or a charitable organization, then the man is not entitled to consider it a debt. However, if the father asks for money without clarifying that it is charity and he is not informed of its charitable source, then the default is that the money is a debt that must be repaid when he is able.
