Should one consider whether to accept mockery or not when reciting a Quranic verse that caused laughter and fear of disbelief, and is it sufficient to verbally deny it, or must one be certain of not having inner acceptance?

What happened to you does not constitute disbelief (kufr), nor is it necessary for you to ponder whether you are pleased or not. You must completely turn away from letting Satan lead you on with these whisperings (waswas). Disbelief does not occur through doubt, and one whose Islam has been established with certainty does not lose his Islam through doubt. Mere doubt concerning what necessitates disbelief is to be disregarded. It is recommended to turn away from whisperings and distract oneself from them.
