Is it considered a sin to go to a woman for a massage (not for sex) when experiencing body pain, and what is its punishment?

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen answered that it is not permissible for a man to massage a woman, nor for a woman to massage a man, especially if they are young. This is because Islamic law blocks all paths leading to fitnah (temptation/strife). Massage involves direct physical contact, which is a dangerous gateway to fitnah and arousal of desire. Therefore, it is advisable to seek a male specialist to perform this task when needed, or for a relative to learn it and carry it out.
