Is it permissible to say "the evil has been taken and gone" about the deceased, and is that considered disbelief?

The saying "took the evil and left" is not disbelief (kufr), and its meaning is the departure of evil with the death of a person. It is more befitting to supplicate for mercy for the deceased Muslim and seek forgiveness for him, and not to mention his faults, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not revile the dead, for they have gone on to what they have sent forth." Furthermore, reviling the dead harms the living, and it is prohibited.
