What is the difference between a servant who performs all acts of worship but lives a difficult life, and a servant who performs all acts of worship and lives a comfortable life?

Whoever dedicates their worship purely to Allah will have the Gardens of Paradise, abiding therein eternally. As for this world, it contains trials of good and evil, and the full wisdom behind these trials cannot be comprehended by anyone except Allah alone. Abundance in provision may lead to transgression, whereas poverty might be better. Servants must face both restriction and expansion [of provisions] with patience and gratitude, for the patient ones will be paid their reward in full without reckoning. Indeed, Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, chose a life of poverty, even though he was the best of worshippers.
