Is it permissible for a woman to seek divorce from her husband who does not appreciate her efforts, does not fulfill his religious obligations, commits forbidden acts, uses verbal abuse, and neglects the care of their children, even though she performed Istikhara before marrying him?

To reform a husband who commits evil deeds, the following is recommended: frequently supplicating, consistently advising him and reminding him of Allah and the Day of Judgment, and explaining the importance of prayer and the prohibition of cursing and swearing. It is also preferable to seek help from a wise family member to advise and control him, and to emphasize the husband's obligation to provide for his family. If the husband does not straighten out after all of this, there is no sin in seeking a divorce, after performing Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and seeking consultation.
