What is the ruling on establishing a da'wah (preaching) camp in public places, where a preacher delivers a guiding speech and gifts are distributed, with a designated area for women separate from men?

Calling people to Allah is one of the best deeds. All permissible means that help in this endeavor should be adopted, including setting up da‘wah camps in public places. There is no legal impediment preventing this, and it is permissible because means are governed by the rulings of their objectives. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to invite people in their gathering places, such as markets. Distributing gifts to attendees to encourage their presence is a good act and there is no harm in it, as it aids in doing good and obeying Allah. For this reason, competitions with prizes were legislated, as was giving to those whose hearts are to be reconciled.
