What are the means and methods that lead to elevated aspirations and eagerness for knowledge, in order to combat low spirits and languor in seeking it?

Weakness of resolve in seeking knowledge is a great affliction. To remedy it, one must be sincere to Allah in their pursuit, for by doing so, a person becomes energetic and knows that they will be rewarded and attain a high rank. It is also necessary to associate with colleagues who encourage the pursuit of knowledge and assist in research and discussion. The third matter is patience and restraining oneself to seek knowledge until it becomes a habit, otherwise, the soul is prone to evil and Satan discourages learning.
