Does reading Surat Al-Kahf on Friday illuminate the grave of the deceased?
Surat Al-Kahf has multiple virtues, not just those mentioned in the question. Whoever recites ten verses from its beginning will be protected from the tribulations of the Dajjal. Tranquility descends upon its reciter. Whoever recites ten verses from its end, the Dajjal will not harm him. Whoever recites it on Friday, a light will illuminate for him between the two Fridays, and he will be forgiven for what is between them. Whoever recites it before sleeping will be protected from the tribulations of the Dajjal, and he will have a light from his head to his feet on the Day of Resurrection. In the Torah, it is called "Al-Ha'ilah" (the Barrier) because it acts as a barrier between its reciter and the Fire. The house in which it is recited will not be entered by Satan that night.
