Is it permissible to take from a Sufi or from Sufi chants, and is Al-Sha'rawi a Sufi and is it permissible to take from him?

One must acquire sacred knowledge from trustworthy individuals known for their piety and adherence to the Sunnah. It is considered a young person's good fortune for Allah to guide him to a scholar from among the people of the Sunnah or to befriend a follower of the Sunnah. As for Sufism, anasheed (religious songs), and the ruling on seeking knowledge from people of innovation, their rulings have been clarified in previous fatwas. Similarly, the standing of Sheikh Al-Sha'rawi and the possibility of benefiting from his knowledge have been indicated in other fatwas.
