Is it permissible for a one-eyed person to wear a glass eye that does not enable him to see, but rather to make people imagine it is a real eye?

There is no impediment to implanting an artificial eye for a one-eyed person, even if the intention is for beautification. Al-Tirmidhi narrated that Arfajah ibn As'ad had a nose made of gold by the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. An exception to this is if it leads to deception, fraud, or harm.
