Are there specific surahs that are recommended to be recited in the supererogatory prayers that precede the Dhuhr, Asr, and Isha prayers?

It has not been authentically reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he recited a specific surah in the regular sunnah prayers accompanying the obligatory prayers, except in the two rak'ahs of Fajr and the two rak'ahs after Maghrib. In these, he would recite Surat "Al-Kafirun" in the first rak'ah after Al-Fatihah, and Surat "Al-Ikhlas" in the second.
