Is it true that sorcery and seeking help from sorcerers can be among the means God provides us to facilitate sustenance or avert harm, while believing that sorcery is mentioned in the Qur’an?

Magic is condemned in Islamic law, and it is among the seven destructive sins. It is not permissible to seek help from magicians or soothsayers or to consult them. Whoever does so has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, or his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. Therefore, if sustenance is acquired through magic, it does not mean it is permissible, for unlawful wealth is deprived of blessing, and lawful means suffice. Piety and supplication to Allah are among the legitimate means to acquire sustenance and ward off harm.
