What is the ruling on the separate "madd" for Hafs in our recitation in Egypt?

The most common method of transmission for Hafs from Asim includes the lengthening (madd) of the disconnected madd (madd al-munfasil), and this is what Al-Dani and Al-Shatibi restricted themselves to. The Qur'anic manuscripts currently in circulation are regulated to include the lengthening of the disconnected madd for the recitation of Hafs. Hafs also has another variant, which is the shortening (qasr) of the disconnected madd, from the path of Al-Nashr and Al-Tayyibah. The Iraqis recited from the path of Al-Fil from Hafs with shortening. Thus, both variants are sound and are recited.
