What is the reason for not having a sense of humility (khushu') in prayer and for the heart not being affected by the Quran, and for feeling distress when Allah is mentioned? And can it be that the heart has been "sealed" due to its hardness and an increase in whisperings (waswas)? And is the vision in the clouds real or a result of whisperings (waswas)?

Hating satanic whisperings (waswasah) is a sign of faith. Magnifying the discourse of these whisperings and fearing them intensely, let alone believing them, indicates a complete faith. A believer is afflicted with whisperings of disbelief that constrict his chest, and the occurrence of these whisperings, coupled with a great aversion to them and a pushing them away from the heart, is a clear sign of faith. The solution is to completely turn away from thinking about them, occupy oneself with learning and good deeds, and strive to keep company with righteous women. Seeing the name of Christ in the clouds is from these whisperings, so no attention should be paid to it.
