How old was the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he migrated, and how many battles did he fight?

The Prophet resided in Mecca for thirteen years after prophethood, making him fifty-three years old at that time. As for the number of his غزوات (military expeditions), it is authentically reported in the Sahihayn from Zayd ibn Arqam that they were nineteen. However, some biographers (ahl al-siyar) reported them to be twenty-five, and it was also said twenty-seven, and twenty-nine.
