What is the ruling on a small part of a house wall (2-3 cm) unintentionally extending into the public road?

It has been previously explained that it is forbidden to erect a building on a public road. However, if what was built is very minor and unintentional, and its removal would cause significant harm, then there is no objection to keeping it.
