Does invoking curses upon others in jest, or using supplications such as "O Allah, make me a doer of good and raised above evil" in jest, constitute mockery of religion and of the ritual of supplication, and does feigned laughter while inwardly disapproving necessitate sin?

It is not permissible to supplicate with such a supplication, not even as a joke, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not supplicate against yourselves, nor supplicate against your children, nor supplicate against your wealth. Do not choose a time when Allah is asked for a grant and He grants it to you." (Narrated by Muslim). Supplication is an act of worship, and it is not lawful for a Muslim to treat it as a mockery. Rather, supplication must be done with politeness and sincere humility towards Allah, and a Muslim should supplicate for what they need concerning their religious and worldly affairs in the manner prescribed by the Sunnah.
