What is the ruling on frequently saying "I love you" between a son and his mother?

There is no harm for a son in telling his father of his love for him; rather, expressing this is considered an act of righteousness towards him. There is no objection to doing so frequently. The father should utilize this emotion to guide his son, educate him, and foster good morals within him.
