The answer

If a girl abandons her parents and refuses reconciliation without a valid reason, she is disobedient and sinful, and she must repent. There is no harm in continuing the relationship with her for the purpose of inviting and advising her, and seeking help from those whose words she accepts. If these efforts do not succeed, she may be shunned if shunning serves as a deterrent. It is preferable not to inform her family of her refusal to reconcile, and one may use ambiguous language when they inquire. As for her marriage without her guardian's permission, it is an invalid marriage that must be annulled unless ruled permissible by a judge.
