The ruling on acquiring a television and watching its programs has been previously explained. If the aforementioned programs do not contain anything forbidden, and following them does not lead to heedlessness regarding prayer or the neglect of duties and rights, then there is no impediment to watching them in moderation, without excess that leads to wasting time.
