Is the supplication formula: "O Allah, I ask You as I bear witness that You are Allah; there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient, Who begets not nor is begotten, and to Whom no one is equal" or "O Allah, I ask You as I bear witness that You are Allah, the One for Whom there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient, Who begets not nor is begotten, and to Whom no one is equal" correct? And does the presence of the word "the One/who" (الذي) in it affect its validity?
This supplication has been narrated both with and without the word "alladhi" (who/which), due to a difference in narration. Imam Ahmad narrated it with the word "alladhi," while Abu Dawud narrated it without it. There is no harm in supplicating with either of these two wordings.
