The assistance provided by the company: If the assistance leads to a forbidden act, then it is impermissible. Among the forbidden acts is opening an account in usurious banks. Savings are even more prohibited because they involve consuming usury. It is not permissible to enter into a usurious contract under the pretext of giving the usurious interest as charity. However, whoever has fallen into that and repented, should give the illicit money in charity for good causes. It is not permissible to open an account in aurious bank, even with the intention of getting rid of the interest, unless the subscriber is compelled, for example, to obtain housing, and the necessity cannot be averted except by this method.
