There is no objection to chanting or listening to it, especially anthems that encourage good, stir enthusiasm, and deter evil, provided they are free of musical instruments, are not excessive, do not lead to neglecting an obligation, and do not involve intermingling or a foreign woman's voice for a man, or indecent language.
