We advise you to thank Allah for the wealth, wife, and offspring He has bestowed upon you. We also advise you to hold onto your wife, who is of good character and performs her religious obligations. You both should live together honorably, avoid causes of dispute, and resolve your problems yourselves. We do not advise you to take another wife now. Your primary concern should be resolving the existing problems with your wife. When suitable conditions for marrying a second wife become available, you will not need permission from your wife or her family.
