Congratulations on your remorse, repentance, and severing of the relationship. We pray for Allah's acceptance of your repentance and forgiveness, based on Quranic verses and Prophetic traditions that affirm the acceptance of repentance and the forgiveness of sins. It is recommended not to reply to the girl so that Satan does not lure you into disobedience, because speaking and corresponding with a young woman with whom you were previously infatuated can lead to what is unlawful. Jurists have stipulated the prohibition of speaking with a young woman for fear of temptation.
