The answer

The Qunut supplication during calamities (Nawazil) should only be for the removal of that calamity. As for the Qunut in the Fajr prayer or Witr, the matter is broad. The supplication in question, even if not established in the , has a good meaning, and there is no harm in supplicating with it because it aligns with Allah's condemnation of those who say what they do not do, as stated in His Almighty قول: "O YOU WHO HAVE BELIEVED, WHY DO YOU SAY WHAT YOU DO NOT DO? GREAT IS HATRED IN THE SIGHT OF ALLAH THAT YOU SAY WHAT YOU DO NOT DO." So, a Muslim's supplication to be among those saved from this warning is good.
